As an expert hired assassin military killer and sniper your job is to eliminate the high profile rouge targets and kill the syndicate escaping in the traffic. Hold your sniper gear, keep steady, hold your breath and fire your weapon to destroy the criminal cars taking cover as camouflage in the traffic. This traffic hunter and sniper shooting game gives you the best opportunity to be a perfect marksman and take the best aim and kill shot from the hill climb mountains to blow up and kill the cars on the speedy lone highway using your best sniper traffic hunter tactics. Also, I think there should be more powerups, like guns that spread out your gunfire over a bigger area.Do have the guts and skills to snipe and destroy the cars and traffic on the highway? Take your crosshair and aim at the coming cars and traffic in Sniper Traffic Road Hunter. It just fades into the row of other space shooters, with little (apart from driving instead of flying) to set them apart. However, the game is lacking that certain something to reach the full 5-point mark. The 15 levels are all designed with a good balance. It has excellent music, really nice design and sprites, and plays very smoothly. I think that the whole game is really well done. Which means that you don't have as much room to avoid enemies as you have in other games.
The thing that sets it apart, however, is that you are operating a car and thus are confined to driving on the road. The gameplay is quite simillar to other space shooters, you kill everything you can see and pick up powerups along the way, then you kill a big boss at the end of each level. Highway Hunter was produced by Safari Software in 1995, the company that later created Tyrian, and Highway Hunter is just as enjoyable and addictive as Tyrian is.
